As mentioned on the rules page, Atsumari is easily adapted to playing with pencil and paper using a printed puzzle (just click on the puzzle image and print). Put a dot in a hexagon to mark it as "white" and shade a hexagon to mark it as "black". (You could also work the puzzles in an image tool like Paint.) This game format allows for bigger boards than the iPhone format, and the numerical clues can take on values greater than 9 here.
