- July 03: Wow! A lot of Atsumari Holiday and Atsumari Lite downloads from Japan yesterday!!! Is this somehow related to the iPhone 4 release? Was there some sort of new exposure in Japan? Send any theories or insight to feedback@atsumari.com
- May 23: Quadratic Games is starting development on a second iPad app in parallel with the first. Weekly Atsumari puzzles are suspended until further notice. If you like Atsumari, then play it on the iPhone or iPod Touch (your own or a friend's). The full version is 99 cents and certainly contains the highest quality of puzzles available. Atsumari Lite is a free app and gives some additional puzzles. Atsumari Holiday Edition is another free app and has some cute holiday-themed puzzles as well as origami-themed backgrounds. If you are coming to this website for the first time, there are plenty of printable (or downloadable) puzzles on the site. -- Dr. Nim
- May 17: Forgot to make a new puzzle this week. Here's a new track instead. I took a short song fragment that I made on the Korg DS-10 ( cartridge-based synth/tracker software for the Nintendo DS - awesome!) and fairly faithfully recreated it in Garage Band (plus the Remix Tools add-on pak, also the World Music add-on pak [for the barely audible tabla beats]). You can hear the original by solving the last level of the Atsumari Holiday app for iPhone and iPod Touch.
